Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1- September 17

Your adventure begins! Sit back and relax on your ride to Chicago O’Hare Airport for your flight to Dublin, Ireland

DAY 2- September 18 (L,D)

“Beannacht lá maith!” (Irish “Good day”)
After arriving in Dublin and clearing immigration and customs, we’ll meet our driver/guide
We’ll get our first look at the beautiful Emerald Isle landscape as we travel south to Carlow for a tour of Huntington Castle and its surrounding gardens
Lunch will be a special treat as it will be enjoyed with Alex, Huntington Castle’s current Lord, a direct descendent of the original owners
Waterford, Ireland's oldest city, founded in 914AD, was given its name by the Vikings. We’ll enjoy a walking tour and learn some of its history
After a long day of travel and prior to turning in tonight, for our first of two nights at the Waterford Granville Hotel (or similar accommodation), we’ll enjoy dinner together

DAY 3- September 19 (B,L)

We start off our day at the fishing village of Dunmore East to enjoy a reflective cliff walk with Dr. Phil Brennan along an ancient 3 km. trail meandering its way from the harbor to Portally Cove
Below the cliff lies inlets and smugglers' caves carved out of conglomerate red sandstone, known locally as “pudding sandstone"
After exploring Dunmore East, we’ll enjoy lunch together
Enroute back to Waterford, we’ll experience a Hawk Walk and an amazing falconry adventure on the grounds of Waterford Castle
Enjoy a free evening exploring Waterford restaurants and pubs at your leisure

DAY 4- September 20 (B)

This morning, we visit the beautiful gardens at Mount Congreve for a private guided tour
Departing Waterford, we make our way to the historic town of Lismore for a walking tour with a local guide including the 6th century St. Carthage Church
Our afternoon journey continues south to the colorful harbor town of Kinsale for our overnight
The evening is yours to enjoy prior to turning in at the Kinsale Trident Hotel (or similar accommodation)

DAY 5- September 21 (B,L,D)

Departing Kinsale we’ll journey west through County Cork to the town of Ballylickey
A true joy to our taste buds awaits us at Manning's Food Emporium. We’ll visit a West Cork cheese maker, learn the story of the local food revolution, and enjoy a tasting platter of good food for lunch
On our way to Killarney and Dingle for our evening dinner and overnight at the Benners Hotel, Dingle (or similar accommodation), scenic beauty will surround us, traveling over the Caba Mountains to Kenmare and along the interior of the Ring of Kerry over Molls Gap

DAY 6- September 22 (B)

Exploring the Dingle Peninsula is a perfect way to spend the day, with its monastic and ancient sites amid abundant Ogham stones and beehive huts
Enjoy wandering through the Dingle shops along with a free evening to enjoy the pubs and restaurants for dinner on your own
Our relaxing overnight is at the Dingle Benners Hotel (or similar accommodation)

DAY 7- September 23 (B,D)

Our adventure to Tralee takes us to Tarbert where we’ll ferry across the River Shannon
Traveling from Killimer to Kilrush, we’ll journey along the Clare coastline and through the limestone landscape of the Burren to the coastal village of Ballyvaughan
Did someone say chocolate? We’ll visit Hazel Mountain Chocolate for a private tour and tasting
After a breathtaking day of travel, our dinner and restful overnight – the first of two - will be at the Ballyvaughan Hylands Hotel (or similar accommodation)

DAY 8- September 24 (B)

This morning we’ll travel to Doolin and take the ferry across to the smallest of the Aran lslands - lnis Oirr
Enjoy exploring the Island known for its unique culture and warm and outgoing spirit
Upon our return to the mainland, views of the Cliffs of Moher will welcome us
The evening is yours to enjoy the local Ballyvaughan restaurants and pubs

DAY 9- September 25 (B)

Today, we’ll travel along the shores of Galway Bay where we’ll enjoy some free time in the city of Galway
After leaving Galway, we’ll head to Ireland's ancient and most famed city of Dublin
On arrival in Dublin, the afternoon and evening are free for you to enjoy exploring on your own and dining at one of the many pubs or restaurants Dublin has to offer
Our overnight will be at the Dublin Ashling Hotel (or similar accommodation)

DAY 10- September 26 (B,D)

This morning, we’ll start with a panoramic tour of Dublin
Enjoy a free afternoon to visit Dublin’s landmarks of interest to you or maybe get in some last-minute shopping
This evening, a special treat – a farewell dinner at Nancy Hands with traditional Irish music and dancing

DAY 11- September 27 (B)

Today we say a fond “slán” (Irish “Goodbye”) to the Emerald Isle as we transfer to the Dublin Airport for our flight to Chicago
Upon disembarking from the plane at Chicago O’Hare Airport, you will be greeted by your transfer driver for your return trip home
Welcome home with wonderful memories to last a life-time
