Daily Itinerary:

Day 1- August 21 (D)
  • Take advantage of convenient departure options in INDIANA, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN, IOWA, or MINNESOTA as we make our way to Omaha, NE
  • After a long day of travel and prior to our overnight stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites, we’ll enjoy dinner together

Day 2- August 22 (B,D)
  • Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery as we travel to Loveland CO – known across the U.S. as “The Sweetheart City” for its Valentine re-mailing program and sweetheart logo stamp
  • Prior to the first of our two-night stay at the Hotel-TownePlace Suites Loveland Fort Collins, we’ll gather for dinner together

Day 3- August 23 (B,L)
  • This morning we’ll meet our step-on guide who will join us on our Discover Rocky Mountain National Park Tour. We’ll view one of our nation’s natural treasures with awe-inspiring views and beautiful dramatic landscapes. We may even spy some of the locals: elk, bighorn sheep, moose and more!
  • To maximize our time at Rocky Mountain National Park, a bagged lunch will be provided at the end of tour
  • With our visit to Chapungu Sculpture Park, we’ll view a one-of-a-kind outdoor exhibit of stone sculptures nestled among natural and landscaped gardens
  • Enjoy a free evening on your own to dine at one of Loveland’s many restaurants

Day 4- August 24 (B,D)
  • We’ll make our way to Jackson, WY – a favorite recreational area for both nature and active adventure lovers
  • “Yee-haw!” We’ll experience true western hospitality as we join wranglers on a horse-drawn covered wagon ride to a chow line for dinner, followed by laughter and hand-clapping/foot-stomping entertainment at Bar T5 - Jackson Hole’s Original Chuck Wagon Dinner Experience
  • Our overnight, the first of two nights, is at The Lodge at Jackson Hole, noted for its rustic charm

Day 5- August 25 (B)
  • An adventurous, yet relaxing way to start our day – a Snake River Scenic Float. Our experienced float guide will take us on a leisurely raft journey on calm waters to explore the natural and unspoiled beauty of Grand Teton National Park
  • Enjoy the rest of the day and evening for exploring, dining & shopping in Jackson

Day 6- August 26 (B,L,D)
  • Cody, WY, founded in 1896 by Colonel William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody, will be the next stop of our National Park tour
  • This morning, we’ll meet our experienced and knowledgeable guide who will be with us as we take in the dramatic sights of Yellowstone National Park. We’ll visit the Grand Prismatic Spring, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and of course gushing geysers - including the most famous, Old Faithful
  • To maximize our time in Yellowstone National Park, a boxed lunch will be provided
  • We’ll enjoy dinner together prior to the first of our two night stay in a cozy “Cowboy Cabin” at The Buffalo Bill Cabin Village Cabins, an IHG Hotel–Cody, WY

Day 7- August 27 (B,D)
  • Starting a day with a Cody Trolley Tour is both a fun and educational way to learn more about “Buffalo Bill’s town”
  • At the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, with five Museums under one roof, we’ll view timeless relics and learn more about the unique and thrilling events that shaped the West
  • Enjoy some free time to explore and have lunch on your own
  • Truly a unique visit! Historic Old Trail Town and Museum of The Old West conserves the life, times and history of the Frontier West through a gathering of genuine structures and furnishings. Here we’ll view cabins used by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as well as a saloon used by Cassidy’s “Hole-in-the-Wall Gang”
  • The Cody Cattle Company dinner and show will be a fun time with a chuckwagon dinner and entertainment
  • How better to cap-off a night in Cody, than with a Cody Nite Rodeo! This Rodeo promises high-energy events where we’ll see cowboys and cowgirls compete in events: bronc riding, bull riding, roping and MORE!

Day 8- August 28 (B)
  • Deadwood, SD is our destination today
  • Enjoy a free afternoon and evening to explore this unique area
  • Our overnight is at The Lodge at Deadwood Gaming Resort –known for its comfortable lodging, dining and casino entertainment in a notable Black Hills location

Day 9- August 29 (B,D)
  • Visiting Mount Rushmore National Memorial is sure to be among the highlights of our tour. With our visit, we’ll discover the reasons why these four Presidents were selected for carving
  • We’ll have free time at Mount Rushmore for further explorations and lunch on our own
  • “Free Water” anyone? The city of Wall has been called “the geographical center of nowhere.” However, one simple idea made it a thriving oasis – offering travelers free ice water
  • Badland National Park is awe-inspiring! Once described as “Hell with the fires burned out,” it is a dramatic landscape of colors, dwelling place of historic fossils and home of varied wildlife
  • After a day of travel, we’ll dine together prior to our overnight at the Hampton Inn, Mitchell, SD

Day 10- August 30 (B)
  • As we start our journey home, sit back, relax and enjoy the passing views while sharing your trip highlights with your fellow travel mates
  • Travelers departing the tour in IOWA and MINNESOTA, welcome back to your departure locations!
  • Travelers continuing on to Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin, enjoy dinner on your own prior to a restful overnight at the Aspen Suites-Rochester, MN

Day 11- August 31 (B)
  • Travelers departing the tour in INDIANA, ILLINOIS and WISCONSIN, welcome back to your departure locations!
