Gathering Day - July 14
 
  • Travelers departing from IOWA, MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN or ILLINOIS, take advantage of a transfer to our 'gathering overnight' hotel in Mishawaka, IN. All remaining travelers can either arrive on your own at the hotel for a complimentary overnight; or choose to wait and join the group on July 15 from one of our identified Indiana pick-up locations
  • For those spending the night in Mishawaka, get acquainted with fellow travelers and your tour manager, and enjoy a complimentary breakfast the following morning

DAY 1- July 15 (D)
 
  • “Bonjour!” (“Good day”). Welcome to Canada
  • After our full day of travel, we’ll enjoy dinner together prior to the first of our two-night stay at the Hilton Hotel-Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada

July 16 (B)
 
  • This morning, we’ll start with a guided scenic drive from Niagara Falls down the Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake – a community known for its picturesque charm
  • A sure highlight of this tour! Known internationally, Niagara Falls is a must-see for its natural breathtaking beauty
  • You may get a little wet, however, the Hornblower Cruise boat ride to the base of Horseshoe Falls is a thrilling must-do
  • Enjoy the rest of the day to explore this beautiful area and dine on your own. Be sure to take in the Falls at night for a unique and beautiful display of vibrant colors!

July 17 (B,L,D)
 
  • Welcome to Toronto, the Capital of Ontario
  • We’ll enjoy breathtaking views of both Toronto and Lake Ontario while lunching at the 360-revolving restaurant atop the 550-meter-high CN Tower (Hint: After lunch, you may want to visit the glass floor for another breath-taking view)
  • This afternoon, we continue on to the charming community of Gananoque, located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River and famous for being the “Gateway to the 1000 Islands”, where we’ll enjoy dinner together prior to turning in at the Holiday Inn Express-Gananoque, Ontario

July 18 (B,D)
 
  • Embarking on the 3-hour Depths & Discoveries of the 1000 Islands Cruise, historical events and stories of lost treasures hidden underwater for centuries will come to life through historical photos, side-scan sonar imagining, video and commentary
  • Our tour continues through the Quebec Province to the city of Montreal, named after the triple-peaked hill at its heart, Mount Royal. While known for its Old-World charm infused with its plurality of cultures, Montreal is also famous for hosting the 1976 Summer Olympics and home of Cirque du Soleil
  • After dinner together, we’ll enjoy the first of our two night stay at the Hampton Inn downtown Montreal, QC

July 19 (B)
 
  • A local guide will greet us this morning for a Montreal city tour, inclusive of Notre Dame Basilica
  • Enjoy a free afternoon and evening to explore many of the great dining options and attractions Montreal has to offer, such as the Biodome, Old Port of Montreal, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Montreal Botanical Garden

July 20 (B,L)
 
  • This morning we’ll travel to Parc Omega to view Canada’s wild animals: moose, elk, bison, wolves, and bears in their natural habitat
  • Next, we’re off to Ottawa the Capital of Canada. Our local guide will provide a comprehensive tour highlighting key spots such as Parliament Hill, the Prime Minister’s Residence, Embassy Row and more
  • With the Lord Elgin Hotel, our perfectly located overnight hotel in Ottawa ON, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy

July 21 (B,D)
 
  • Our travels today will take us on a tour of Hoselton Sculptures to view beautiful sculptures created utilizing the unique process with recycled aluminum alloy and sand casting
  • Cambridge, formed in 1973 by the Province of Ontario, will be our last overnight stop in Canada. Here we’ll enjoy dinner prior to retiring at the Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre

July 22 (B)
 
  • We say “Au revoir” (“Goodbye”) to Canada as we cross the United States / Canada border
  • As we start our journey home, sit back, relax and enjoy the passing views while sharing your tour highlights with your fellow travel mates
  • Travelers departing the tour in INDIANA, WISCONSIN and ILLINOIS, welcome back to your departure locations
