Daily Itinerary:

Gathering Day - October 16
  • Travelers departing from IOWA, MINNESOTA, WISCONSIN or ILLINOIS, take advantage of a transfer to our ‘gathering overnight’ hotel in Mishawaka, IN. All remaining travelers can either arrive on your own at the hotel for a complimentary overnight; or choose to wait and join the group on October 17 from one of our identified Indiana pick-up locations
  • For those spending the night in Mishawaka, get acquainted with fellow travelers and your tour manager; and enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning
DAY 1- October 17 (D)
  • Sit back and enjoy the rolling farmlands while greeting your travel mates as we travel through Indiana on our way to Lexington, Kentucky - the heart of the state's bluegrass region
  • Prior to turning in for the evening at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lexington, we’ll enjoy dinner together

DAY 2- October 18 (B,D)
  • With our local step-on guide, we’ll experience what has made this bluegrass area of Kentucky famous. Keeneland Race Course is a globally celebrated race course and the Thoroughbred industry’s foremost auction house
  • Our step-on guide will also take us for a visit to Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm, a living-history museum of horse racing, where we’ll get to pet and feed retired champions
  • We’ll enjoy dinner together prior to our relaxing overnight at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Asheville, NC

DAY 3- October 19 (B,D)
  • This morning, have your camera ready as we’ll be surrounded by stunning autumn colors on our drive through Smoky Mountain National Park
  • This afternoon we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the Titanic Museum. The largest permanent Titanic museum in the world is a must-see, with over 400 artifacts directly from the ship and its passengers
  • After our exploration of the Titanic Museum, a special first-class dining experience awaits us in the Titanic’s Secret Dining Room. With its realistic atmosphere and Edwardian-style features, we’ll feel like we are dining aboard the acclaimed ship
  • We’ll enjoy the next two nights at Country Cascades in Pigeon Forge, TN

DAY 4- October 20 (B,D)
  • This morning, we are on our way to The Island. Enjoy free time to explore the attractions, shops, music venues and have lunch on your own
  • The Great Smoky Mountains are filled with music during the annual Harvest Festival at Dollywood! Enjoy the various culinary treats, live musical entertainers and seasonal displays, along with viewing crafters' and artisans’ demonstrations
  • As evening draws near, we’ll see the spectacular Great Pumpkin LumiNights, where thousands of glowing jack-o-lanterns and decorations illuminate the park
  • Dinner coupons will be provided for you to use at the many restaurants in the park. Enjoy!

DAY 5- October 21 (B,D)
  • We are on our way to Music City U.S.A. - Nashville, TN
  • View Nashville through the eyes of a local resident as we meet our singer/songwriter step-on guide
  • Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, known for its Southern hospitality, will greet us with a ‘Hey y’all, come on in. Make yourself at home' as we dine together this evening
  • When in Nashville, seeing a show at the home of country music, the Grand Ole Opry, is a special treat!
  • After a fun-filled day, we’ll have a relaxing overnight at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Nashville

DAY 6- October 22 (B)
  • We begin our journey home as we travel the scenic countryside
  • Welcome back to your departure locations!
