Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1
  • The adventure begins
  • You will be transported to Chicago's O'Hare airport for your flight to Rome.

DAY 2
  • Arrive in Rome, where a motorcoach will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel
  • Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening at a restaurant within walking distance of your hotel
  • Overnight at Hotel Massimo D'Azeglio or similar for the next two nights. Hotel Massimo D’Azeglio  or similar- Rome, Italy (D)

DAY 3
  • Enjoy a city sightseeing tour of Rome, including Quirinale Palace, Via Veneto, the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain
  • Visit the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. Hotel Massimo D’Azeglio or similar - Rome, Italy (B)

DAY 4
  • Travel to the medieval town of Siena in Tuscany
  • A local guide will show you all of the famous sights, including the central Piazza Del Campo
  • Continue to the Hotel Adler Cavalieri in Florence for the next two nights. Hotel Adler Cavalieri - Florence, Italy (B, D)

DAY 5
  • This morning, take a walking tour of Florence
  • See Santa Groce Church, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Cathedral and the Academia, home of Michelangelo's famous statue of David
  • The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy Florence on your own. Hotel Adler Cavalieri - Florence, Italy (B)

DAY 6
  • Head to Pisa for a stop to see the leaning tower
  • Continue to Venice
  • Overnight at Hotel Carlton or similar for the next two nights.  Hotel Carlton or similar- Venice, Italy (B, D)

DAY 7
  • Check out the historic part of Venice
  • Walk through the old quarters to see St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Cathedral, the tragic Bridge of Sighs and the Doges Palace
  • The afternoon is free for you to explore Venice on your own. Hotel Carlton or similar- Venice, Italy (B)

DAY 8
  • Depart Venice and travel to the Hotel Grauer Baer in Innsbruck, Austria for an overnight
  • This evening, enjoy a Tyrolean Folklore Show with brass music, folk dancing and yodeling. Grauer Baer - Innsbruck, Austria (B,D)

DAY 9
  • Travel to Oberammergau
  • Upon arrival in the village you will have some free time to explore on your own
  • This afternoon, experience history first-hand and attend the Passion Play, performed only every 10 years since 1634
  • Lodging in will be assigned by the Passion Play office - Oberammergau (B,D)

DAY 10
  • Depart Oberammergau and travel to Munich, the capital of Bavaria
  • Stop at Nymphenburg Palace, the former residence of the Royal Bavarian Family
  • Continue on to the Olympic Complex, site of the 1972 summer Olympics
  • See the famous landmarks of Munich, including the student district of Schwabing, Maximilianstrasse, Koenigsplatz and the Marienplatz
  • The remainder of the day is free for you to explore Munich on your own
  • Overnight at the Maritim hotel in Munich. Maritim Hotel - Munich, Germany (B)

DAY 11
  • Transfer to the Munich airport for your return flight to Chicago
  • Upon disembarking from the plane at Chicago O’Hare Airport, you will be greeted by your transfer driver for your return trip home
  • Welcome Home! You return home with wonderful memories, unique personal photos and tales of your adventure to share with family and friends. (B)

Deposit:  $700 per person. Plus an additional optional premium for Trip Cancellation / Interruption Protection. Please ask you agent about the Trip Cancellation Protection.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation charges will be assessed as follows: 121 or more days prior to departure: fully refundable; 120 days & less prior to departure: No refund.
