Daily Itinerary:


DAY 1 
  • Your adventure begins!
  • Sit back and leave the driving to us! Enjoy your ride in comfort as we wind through the mid-Atlantic states on our way to Erie, PA
  • Dinner together will be enjoyed prior to our overnight at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel, Erie PA (D)

DAY 2
  • A highlight of our day - Niagara Falls, including a ride on the Maid of the Mist with the sound of rushing water and refreshing mist on our faces
  • The rest of the day is yours to explore. PLEASE NOTE: Should you wish to explore the Canadian side of the Falls; you will need a valid passport
  • Our relaxing overnight will be at The Comfort Inn “The Point” - Niagara Falls, NY (B)

DAY 3 
  • Welcome to Vermont, the Green Mountain State
  • As we travel through this beautiful state, enjoy the colorful views
  • Tonight, we’ll overnight at The Grand Hotel - Killington, VT (B)

DAY 4
  • We’ll start our day with the crisp Vermont air and a guided tour
  • Visiting the New England Maple Museum, we’ll learn maple syrup history, taste some samples and YES, you can purchase some for taking home!
  • We’ll travel back in time at Plymouth Notch, the birth place of President Calvin Coolidge – our 30th President, and learn about its history in a beautiful setting
  • Enjoy exploring and lunching in the village of Woodstock – famous for the Woodstock Festival
  • More scenic views abound at Quechee Gorge as we travel to New Hampshire for our two-night stay in Gilford
  • Tonight, we’ll enjoy dining together Towne Place Suites by Marriott Gilford, NH (B,D)

Day 5 
  • A guided tour starts our day in New Hampshire, The Granite State
  • Enjoy colorful Franconia Notch State Park, with a stop to view the Old Man of the Mountain
  • Photo stops are ours at Crawford Notch, including the Elephant Head rock formation and the Silver Cascade
  • Enjoy free time in North Conway prior to a Loon Gondola ride for breathtaking views of the White Mountain National Forest
  • Vibrant colors continue along the Kancamagus Highway – noted as one of the best fall foliage viewing locations in the US
  • Dinner will be enjoyed together tonight Towne Place Suites by Marriott - Gilford, NH (B,D)

DAY 6
  •  Continuing our travels through New Hampshire, we arrive in Maine, The Pine Tree State
  • Enjoy free time and lunch on your own in the charming coastal town of Kennebunkport, ME
  • Discover the history of Portland with a guided tour to include Longfellow’s boyhood home and a stop at the Portland Head Lighthouse – the most photographed lighthouse in America
  • We’ll delight in dining together prior to a restful first night of our two-night stay In Portland Hampton Inn South Portland, ME (B,D)

DAY 7
  • Today, we’ll enjoy a full day with our local guide
  • Setting sail on a Boothbay Harbor cruise, we’ll glide by numerous small islands, coastal vacation homes and lighthouses
  • The boating capital of Maine, Boothbay Harbor, with its scenic coastal waterfront and quaint shops are ours to enjoy
  • Lobster anyone? Yes, we’ll enjoy a traditional Maine lobster lunch. (An alternate selection is available)
  • Maine's shipbuilding and maritime heritage, with hands-on exhibits, are on display at the Maine Maritime Museum
  • Enjoy the evening on your own to relax and dine Hampton Inn South Portland, ME (B,L)

DAY 8
  • Welcome to Massachusetts, The Bay State
  • Step back in time with our visit to Old Sturbridge Village, MA – a re-creation of a rural 1830s New England town
  • Gathering together for our farewell to New England dinner at the Salem Cross Inn, a 1700s inn, we’ll enjoy fireplace roasted prime rib and deep-dish apple pie made from scratch topped with freshly whipped cream Comfort Inn & Suites - Sturbridge, MA (B,D)
DAY 9 
  • We start our journey home traveling scenic byways to Pennsylvania
  • Share with fellow travel mates fond memories of the sights, sounds, tastes and the people met during our travels
  • Prior to our overnight in Lewisburg, PA, we’ll enjoy dining together Best Western Plus - Lewisburg, PA (B,D)

DAY 10 
 
  • Welcome Home! We return home with wonderful memories, unique personal photos and tales of your adventure to share with family and friends. (B)
