Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 (D)
  • Your adventure begins!
  • Sit back and leave the driving to us
  • Our dinner together and overnight stay is in the welcoming community of Rochester, MN 
DAY 2 (B,D)
  • Tasty treats will be ours with a stop at the SPAM Museum, where we will enjoy an inclusive tour
  •  Welcome to South Dakota! Mitchell, SD, is the home of "The World's Only Corn Palace," decorated each year with two-to-three thousand bushels of corn, grain and grasses.
  • Our overnight tonight is in Oacoma, SD where we'll enjoy dinner at the resort prior to calling it a night.
DAY 3 (B)
  • Continuing west, we'll enjoy one of nature's true wonders, Badlands National Park, once described as "Hell, with the fires burned out". Keep your camera ready for awe-inspiring sights
  •  We make a stop at Wall Drug for some FREE water and lunch on our own
  • Making our way to "Tatanka: Story of the Bison", we'll pay tribute to the North American Bison and Lakota traditions
  • The afternoon and evening are free for us to explore Deadwood, as we begin the first of our two-night stay at the Hampton Inn & Tin Lizzie Family Gaming Resort

DAY 4 (B,D)
  • We start our day with a visit to Crazy Horse Memorial. Upon construction completion, this Memorial will show Crazy Horse, an Oglala Lakota warrior, atop his horse pointing into the distance.
  •  On Our visit to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, we'll dicover the reasons why these four Presidents were selected for the carving.
  • Not something you would do every day, but you will today- search for buffalo herds on a jeep ride through Custer State Park
  • Our dinner this evening will be at Custer State Game Lodge, built in 1920, which also served as President Calvin Coolidge's "Summer White House"

DAY 5 (B,D)
  • Heading south, we'll start our day with a guided tour of Hot Springs Mammoth Site, home to prehistoric fossil excavations with hands-on exhibits
  • Continuing to Nebraska, we'll visit Chimney Rock National Historic Site, an important landmark along the mid-19th century Oregon Trail
  • We'll enjoy dinner together at a local Ogallala, NE restaurant prior to turning in at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites

DAY 6 (B,L)
  • We continue our journey to The Archway Monument, a tribute to the American spirit of adventure, when brave 19th century pioneers moved to settle this wild land 
  • We'll enjoy an included farewell lunch together at The Archway Monument 
  • Spend a restful night in Des Moines, IA

DAY 7 (B)
  • Welcome home!
  • You arrive home with wonderful memories, unique personal photos and tales of your adventure to share with family and friends!
