Daily Itinerary:

DAY 1 
  • Your adventure begins!
  • Group air transportation is available on this tour as an optional upgrade package, and includes convenient pick-up and drop-off services. If group air is not taken, meet the group in Boston, MA at Logan Airport to begin the tour. Please make sure to schedule your flight to arrive prior to the start of the tour
  • Upon arrival in Boston, we start our adventure with a visit to Plymouth – “America’s Hometown”
  • Picture stops will be made along the way at Forefather’s Monument and Plymouth Rock
  • Enjoy the views as we continue on to Cape Cod to the Cape Codder Resort – our home-away-from-home for the next five nights
  • We’ll enjoy dinner together at the Resort. Cape Codder Resort & Spa - Hyannis, MA (D)

DAY 2
  • Our guide will meet us this morning for a fun and exciting day of sightseeing
  • All Aboard! From the Hy-Line Docks we will board a high-speed ferry for the stunning Island of Nantucket speeding us towards our guided tour
  • Enjoy time on your own for lunching, shopping and exploring at your leisure
  • ** Please wear comfortable shoes as Nantucket has many cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks
  • We’ll be able to share stories of our adventures today together at dinner this evening. Cape Codder Resort & Spa - Hyannis, MA (B, D)

DAY 3
  • As we travel Old King’s Highway, we’ll view the Eastham Windmill and a Cape Cod Lighthouse as we make our way to the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitors Center
  • Enjoy time eating lunch on your own and exploring the many shops and galleries of Provincetown – known as “Land’s End” – and the acknowledge site of the Mayflower’s landing in 1620
  • Ahoy! We’ll board an excursion vessel for an afternoon of whale watching with an onboard naturalist
  • Dinner will be savored together this evening. Cape Codder Resort & Spa - Hyannis, MA (B, D)

DAY 4
  • All Aboard! With our local guide, we’ll again board a high-speed ferry, from the Hy-Line Docks, for our visit to the beautiful Island of Martha’s Vineyard
  • Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a sightseeing tour and learn the history and lifestyles of the islanders
  • In Edgartown, a historic whaling town on Martha’s Vineyard, enjoy lunching and shopping at your leisure
  • Continuing on, we arrive at Oak Bluff with free time to explore “Cottage City” – a national historic district with a collection of 300+ brightly painted cottages with decorative gingerbread trim

DAY 5
  • Our local guide will again meet us this morning for a tour of Hyannis - including the John F. Kennedy Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Hyannis Port and a view of St. Francis Xavier Church, the summer parish of the Kennedy Family
  • Explore the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum. President Kennedy stated his love of this area in this way: “I always go to Hyannis Port to be revived, to know again the power of the sea and the master who rules over it and all of us.”
  • Enjoy time on your own for lunching, shopping and exploring at your leisure
  • Continuing on, we travel to Sandwich, the oldest town on Cape Cod and the site of one of America’s largest glass factories
  • We’ll be surrounded by sparkling glass objects of art with our visit to the Sandwich Glass Museum
  • The Cape Cod Canal Visitors Center offers us interactive exhibits and insights into the history, interesting features, and operation of the Cape Cod Canal
  • Gathering together for our farewell dinner, we will enjoy the grand buffet at the Historic Dan’l Webster Innt. Cape Codder Resort & Spa - Hyannis, MA (B, D)

DAY 6
  • Bid a fond farewell to Cape Cod as you start your journey home
  • For those travelers who purchased the group air package through Legacy Travel Group, upon disembarking from the plane at Chicago O’Hare, you will be greeted by your transfer driver for your return trip to your chosen tour departure location
  • Welcome home with wonderful memories, unique personal photos and tales of your adventure to share with family and friends (B)
