    Day 1 Friday, 8/13/2010 - We fly to Alaska today and overnight in downtown Anchorage. Inlet Tower Suites or similar – Anchorage, AK
    Day 2 Saturday, 8/14/2010 - This morning we board our motorcoach for our grand adventure to Valdez. We drive through the Matanuska Susitna Valley where world record monster vegetables grow in the 24-hour daylight. We stop at Worthington Glacier and arrive in Valdez early this evening. Valdez is nicknamed Alaskas Little Switzerland as it is nestled between the waterfront and the mountains. We enjoy an included dinner and entrance to the Valdez Museum tonight.     Day 3 Sunday, 8/15/2010 - Late this morning we board a Glacier & Wildlife Cruise and travel through the majestic Prince William Sound. We see the mighty Columbia Glacier and hear tales of the region as told by the Alaskan crew. We’ll keep our eyes open for seals, sea lions, otters, whales, dolphins and puffins throughout this half-day cruise. We return to Valdez . Aspen Valdez or similar – Valdez, AK (CB, L)
    Day 4 Monday, 8/16/2010 - We journey by motorcoach north to Fairbanks, the largest city in the interior. The route takes us along the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, the largest park in the United States. We will also see the Trans-Alaska Pipeline that runs 800 miles from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez on our drive. Wedgewood Resort or similar – Fairbanks, AK (CB)
    Day 5 Tuesday, 8/17/2010 - This morning we enjoy a city tour of Fairbanks with an included visit to the University of Alaska Museum. We then cruise on the Chena River aboard the grand sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery III and experience the number one boat tour in North America. Travel back in time when rivers were used as transportation and learn about Alaska Native culture at an Athabaskan Indian Village. This evening we enjoy the fun at a traditional salmon bake dinner.     Day 6 Wednesday, 8/18/2010 - The scenery continues to astound as we make our way south along the Parks Highway to Denali National Park. We have a free afternoon at Denali to soak up the scenery and to experience the many optional attractions here. This evening we enjoy the fun at the Denali Dinner Theatre.     Day 7 Thursday, 8/19/2010 - After our free morning, we travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. We’ll search the pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, wolves and Dall Sheep. A snack box lunch will be served. Denali Bluffs or similar – Denali National Park, AK (B, Box Meal Lunch)
    Day 8 Friday, 8/20/2010 - Our morning is free for any optional activities. This afternoon we board the world-famous Alaska Railroad for our scenic trip to Anchorage. As we travel in spacious passenger rail cars along the Susitna River we may catch a glimpse of Mt. McKinley. Dinner is onboard the train tonight. Inlet Tower Suites or similar – Anchorage, AK (B, D)
    Day 9 Saturday, 8/21/2010 - We enjoy a tour of Anchorage and a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center. The afternoon is free for shopping and browsing the downtown area. This evening we feast on an Alaskan style meal at the Sourdough Mining Company. Inlet Tower Suites or similar – Anchorage, AK (B, D)
    Day 10 Sunday, 8/22/2010 - Our Grand Alaska tour comes to an end as we transfer to the airport for our flight home.
