DAY 2 Travel along the Teton Range and through Island Park. In Yellowstone National Park see an eruption of Old Faithful and geyser basins including Fountain Paint Pots. Stay in West Yellowstone 2 nights.

DAY 3 Tour the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center with a naturalist guide. This afternoon, board small vehicles for a Yellowstone Wildlife Safari. Travel through Norris Geyser Basin, Mammoth Hot Springs and enjoy a picnic dinner in Lamar Valley. Using high-quality optics, explore the Lamar Valley in the evening when animals are most active. DAY 4 We return to Yellowstone National Park for another great day of sightseeing. First visit the awe-inspiring "Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone," with a chance to see both Upper and Lower falls. Next, drive through scenic Hayden Valley, famous for large herds of buffalo and other wildlife. Travel the shores of Yellowstone Lake and exit Yellowstone via the South Gate and enter Grand Teton National Park. Visit historic Jackson Lake Lodge which is listed on the National Historic Register and boasts 60 foot windows that perfectly frame the Tetons. This evening arrive at the Hatchet Resort and for a two night stay. The Hatchet Resort is a historic gem nestled in the Buffalo Valley and combines western charm with an authentic Jackson Hole experience. Dinner will be included at the hotel restaurant. DAY 5 We start the day in Grand Teton National Park with a Scenic Float Trip on the Snake River. Your river guide will point out wildlife, explain the geology of the area and tell stories about local history and folklore. It will be a morning to remember. Next visit the fun western town of Jackson with free time to explore and have lunch on our own. This old cowboy town is now home to hundreds of art galleries, shops, attractions and restaurants but still maintains an old west charm. Later in the afternoon, enjoy additional sightseeing in Grand Teton National Park with picture stops at various scenic view points along the way including Jenny Lake which offers unique photo taking opportunities. Return to our hotel with a little time to relax and freshen up before we join the group for a fun western style BBQ dinner and cowboy entertainment with a view of the Tetons! DAY 6 We will travel in three states today: Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah, on our way to Salt Lake City. Drive through rugged Snake River Canyon, then pass through the pastoral Star Valley, which is a fertile farming valley that stretches across the Idaho border. We’ll make a stop at picturesque Bear Lake for an included lunch with a view of the lake. Next travel through beautiful Logan Canyon and then along the shore of the Great Salt Lake on our way to Salt Lake City for a driving tour of this premier western city. After checking into a downtown hotel, join the group for a special farewell dinner at The Roof restaurant overlooking Temple Square. Red Lion Hotel - Salt Lake City, UT (B,L,D)
